- Weaned mid-November and put onto a corn silage based TMR
with DDGS, grain corn and mineral.
- Verified Beef Production Plus and BIXS enrolled, eligible for
Cargill’s Canadian Beef Sustainability Acceleration Program.
- Age verified.
- Vaccinated with BoviShield Gold One Shot, Ultrabac
7/Somubac and Cylence in August. Booster vaccines and
Ivermectin pour on given post weaning in late November.
- No Implants.
- FOB Farm
- No Stags or Horns, steers are banded at birth.
- Calves performed well with no health issues.
- A-8 Ranch has invested in a good breeding program that
features high quality Simmental and Angus genetics that
contributes to good deep-bodied calves with an excellent hair
coat.
- We are also adding only top end replacement heifers to our cow
herd.
